On Friday, February 25, two students from Valley View Elementary participated in Las Cruces Sings at Organ Mountain High School. Las Cruces Sings is an honor choir made up of students from across the Las Cruces Public Schools district.
Valley View was honored to be represented by Nehemiah Garcia and Uriah Hernandez, both 5th graders. Jose Huerta, Valley View's music teacher, joined the students on Friday to cheer them on. Mr. Huerta had been helping the two students prepare for this event since the beginning of the school year.
